So Close, But, Oh, So Far


Lester discovers the friendly neighborhood cat.



And then... then, well, what started out as a good training exercise -- you haven't really tested "stay" until there's a cat three inches from your dog's nose -- turned into an amusing photo-op. I think Lester and the feline have been having an illicit affair without my knowing.

Having a fight. Any relationship has its ups and downs, I guess.



Taken literally minutes ago. I think Ms. Smitten Feline is still out there, still waiting for her canine soulmate. Lester, unfortunately for her, has been enticed away by other things ("rubber toy? oooh, me! me! me!") and is now asleep in my bedroom.

Eloping with another species aside, Lester has had an adventurous few weeks. I'll write about it soon. Of course, you faithful readers know that means in a century and a half. :P
